Freshmen go Halloweening!

The eggs that the group got were ready to hatch but fortunately didn't do so until they got home to the Mansion. Daw's folks prodded the other parents into allowing their kids to just sleep over - there were more than enough rooms and they'd been friends long enough, they knew nothing would 'happen'. Perhaps it was the spiked punch, but everyone agreed - and half the parents crashed in one or another of the big place's rooms anyway.

"Do you think we need any-" Daw started to say but the eggs were already hatching! "I was gonna say meat but..."

It wasn't meat that the hatchlings were going for - it was their looted candy! "Hey!" Sharon said, his voice shrieking like the girl she was born. "That's mine!"

It's mine now! Was the mental call from the darkly striped violet and black flitter-thing that hatched. Sharon named hers Gobblin, because that's exactly what he did.

Will you share? Asked Daw's little flit, a purple and silverish female. "Of course I will, Dusky," Daw said, offering her a piece of caramel.

Abruptly Alexia giggled and turned her crown over, holding it out to the white and rainbow-colored flitter that hatched from her egg. "Naturally I will offer you the finest accomodations, Princess," she said to her flit. The flitter crawled into the fake crown and fell to sleep.

Don't these things come with meat in them? Asked Valentine's male flitter, whom he named Vampire. "Sorry, it's just fruity filling and sugar."

"PUNKIN!" Yelled Celeste, as the orange colored female wrapped herself around the girl's hand. "You're so cute!"

The siamese-marked male with the stripey wings crept around Freddy's shoulder, nestling in the costume's fur. I hope you keep this fur coat, the flit commented sleepily.

"I can't understand how you can sleep after eating that much candy, Sneaker," Freddy commented.
