Bonded to Sholusoilseth at Cathair Fionabhainn!

BACK!

At long last, after a considerable wait and a dangerous turn of events at the Cathair, it looked like the eggs were about to hatch. Well, a number of them anyway, many seemed like they were not going to break open at this moment.

Lightshow followed the leader of the Cathair onto the sands, and was humming a tune she'd heard a long time before. At least no one complained about that - the dragons around were humming themselves into a tizzy.

The first hatchling of the day was apparently a big, importantly ranked female. Lightshow made a note of that. Hmn. She wondered, what in the world was she getting into now? Would this all really turn out right?

Of course it would. When a bunch of dragonets bonded off to their very happy companions, including a very strange skeletal dragon, Lightshow started to get a bit hungry. She first attributed it to not having had proper lunches lately - but then realized that it was more a feeling in her head, than in the pit of her stomach.

A swirly colored kind-of-green bonded someone nearby, but the colorful one who had broken out of her shell with that one had been sitting there waiting for something to happen. She looked around casually, from her little mound on the sands. Deliberately, the colorful girl looked at everyone in their turn. She didn't bother walking up to anyone until she seemed quite certain.

And when she was, it was to Lightshow that she walked.

Do you think your lights would clash with my colors? The dragonet asked mentally. Lightshow relished the feeling of the dragon's mind in her own. It was a fresh, lively voice, but with a depth of interest and concern.

"Don't worry, Sholusoilseth, we'll figure it out." Lightshow said. "There is food and I need a drink," she added, "over there. Let's go. I know you're hungry!"

The very colorful pair left the sands together - the way they would stay forever.
