Without doubt, Threads is the most vain member of this group. But that's all right. He's handsome, charismatic and nice, has a good sense of humor, and he'll tolerate almost any amount of guff from anyone. While he is not infinitely patient, he does love having kids around him and the old geezers alike - both fascinate him.

His sister Treads and he are quite close with Velcro and DJ. Often they act as go-betweens when multiple areas of the Mall must be addressed quietly at the same time - without using the p.a. system. They were both born in the Mall, and their family still resides there in one of the larger stores.

If there was ever a man who one would want to be the emissary of the group, it'd be Threads. However, he knows that his quarterback charm can only reach so far - he freely admits he is far less intelligent than DJ and has no interest in taking command over from him.

Threads has a deep, friendly voice which is as happy as his smirk shows. He does have a streak of swearing often running through his vocabulary though.
