Name: Rodney "Rowdy" Betters

Gender: Male, Straight

Age/DOB: ~30@Events / Unknown

Origin: Repurposed Earth, unknown midwest

Family: Likely any other relatives are deceased, however Otis Betters is his brother

Other: Genial and very well liked across all of his dealings, from PHEAR / FEAR, to BMRC

Height: 5'10"

Weight: around 200, a bit on the pudgy side and not in tremendously great shape, but still ... a bit less rotund than his brother...

Hair: Greying Brown, cut short and always just barely visible under his baseball cap, likely balding a bit on the top

Eyes: Light blue, with a darker ring; squinty, a bit tired looking, but always intent on seeing what others might miss

Appearance: Fair skinned with quite a few moles and blemishes, almost always with a good covering of 5 o'clock shadow on his chin and jaw; continues to prefer wearing simple button-up shirts and ties, with slacks, and if he has access to protective gear such as tactical vests he will wear them. Never seen without his baseball cap bearing the old FEAR logo - though this varies from world to world, and the one that he's wearing did not come from his own Earth

Genetic Abilities: None known

Icarus Processing: None, and would not benefit though is not outside the genetic requirements

Skills or Profession: For many years, Rowdy worked with Armacham and the PHEAR program (Paranormal Human Event Attack Resistance) doing logistics and communications, and was sent in to the EC where he remained until the end of the war. He is exceptionally good at shuffling information around, observing data, and organization of people. While he was trained with the use of small weaponry (handguns, shotguns, rifles) he prefers a single pistol and his wits. He had been very skilled at navigation for both ground and aerial travel, and this still serves him though he's had to re-learn how to ... well, how to fly a dragon? It's not at all like helicopters, but he can fly those too. But his navigation skill is certainly among the best in the Rookery, and why he's stationed in the middle of things at Lane Mansion, to make sure that world-wide transportation is safe and smooth. He has very good communication skill with anyone who can speak or hear, enunciating well and clearly to give commands, and using all available electronics for such work with ease. Rowdy has skills in security and satellite detection, though doesn't work directly with Combine-created items unless they're brought to him and he can get a closer look at them.
Personality: Friendly, warm, and protective of those under his care, Rowdy can get to the business at hand quickly and succinctly without being short or curt, or at least without seeming that way. Though he was a bit freaked out by all the weird things the Pantheon could do, he helped instruct some of them on the use of security devices, communication networks, and contributed a bit to the use of their satellite reception at the Enrichment Center. He knows 'right from wrong', and doesn't hesitate to send the right people in to the job, but he always offers a comforting word or encouragement to those who are out in the field while he's sitting safely behind a desk.
Events or History: Rodney and Otis both graduated from a local university with decent grades, Rodney went into the military shortly after turning 20, and remained in a semi-militaristic designation at Armacham until shortly after the Events. He organized the transport of new 'recruits' to Armacham's projects, flying helicopters and doing ground driving, he would be the 'guy in a security van' trope. The things he'd seen in the field for Armacham got weirder and weirder until they finally sent him and several others in to the Enrichment Center to 'clean it up' and he ... well, ignored those instructions, and began helping the Pantheon there settle in to a more protected non-Armacham routine. He was among the few that didn't relocate to Black Mesa, preferring to keep to a brighter, if weirder, location like the EC, mostly to keep his eye on the kids and refugees there because he knew those going to Black Mesa were already well set.
Now that the Rookery exists, he's getting a workout again, and enjoys every moment. Because his dragon bond is in fact fully Impressed to him, they share a solid partnership and he suddenly 'knows what those kids talk about' when they're using telepathy to communicate.
In RY+8 with the arrival of the Hippies, he continues to work from his central spot - along side Daisy and Jacob - to produce a flawless 24/7 network of protection and information flow.

Dragon

Name: Irjith
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: Medium-Large (average Pernese Blue) 14' s / 56' l / 92' ws
Colors: Mottled dusty sky blue on all body, with medium blue marbled markings, wingsails medium blue with edges marbled in lighter blue, tail spade medium blue unmarked; eyes change based on mood and are usually quite bright
Features: Pernese-based, four legs with thumbs on forepaws, strong claws, 5 and 4 digits; leathery wings have three visible fingers with two claws on leading, wrist thumb, all with claws; hide is thick and requires moisture or oil, sheds frequently, also when on heat tends to shed and then shin very strongly; head has eye ridges, long headknobs; low soft fleshy ridges along entire spine from head to tail end; faceted eyes change with mood; offspring inherit -TH name based on mate.
Powers: Winged Flight, Irjith takes a slow-and-steady approach to flying. He is big and strong, and quite durable in the sky contrary to what many Blue Pernese might think. He can lift quite a bit of gear or people, and does so with a pleasant trumpet to his greeting. He's not really known for stunts or evasive maneuvering, however, and hasn't really seen much in the way of combat since arriving to the Mansion. While parts of his mind dwell on this, he's also happy to serve in this capacity as he can sense how important it is to his bond.
Teleportation, where he truly shines is in his long-distance teleportation. Irjith is superbly able to take direction from Rowdy, who is in turn remarkably good at navigation in this manner. Since they frequently move between the Mansion and the Rookery, as well as up north to the Aperture facility, this route is very quick to a dragon like Irjith. It seems that even though he does go between, it's so quick that hardly anyone complains about the cold or how they're out of breath when they exit. He can and has used his ability to teleport in rapid-fire battles, once out of firestone to produce flames, he 'sneaks up' behind things in the air and absolutely demolishes them with his paws.
Communication, though he does have a loud and direct voice, he doesn't 'speak' English nor even the Draconic that the other imported dragons do, he is trying to learn their language. For the most part he is open to mental or Vortal communication of any kind, from any source. It's said that his mental voice is clear and calm, like a cloudless sky.
Firebreath, because he is a Pernese-variant, he does have the ability to breathe flames, however it's assisted-only, and there's a bit of lack of coal around here. He doesn't much care for the taste anyway, so he'll just be content to move his human friends to their own battles, and if needed he can always just smack the shit out of the sky from above.
Parentage: Purple-Fuchsia Juzth (F, Cwerty x Kewerth) and Yellow Iuth (M, Eriol backwards Green-gold Pwyllith (Demona's) x Bronze Tamairth) siblings include Qyvneth, Jaizath, Zianazuth
Origin: Alskyran Pernese Variant clutch from Paniya Island
Other Info: Even though his sisters are all quite small, Irjith is considerably larger and actually more matches a Pernese sized dragon where they are 'sport' sized. Juzth and Iuth are rather proud of this, though confounded because ... why are they all so little? Well, that doesn't matter a bit to Irjith, he's happy to serve his bond and fly proudly. He isn't really sure what to think about those Pyrhhan or Pantalan or whatever they are dragons, but they definitely get their jobs done too and that's all that matters.
