Name: Avery 'Cricket' Boone, Iq'ah rus - her own electric style

Gender: Female, prefers female

Age/DOB: 25/1997* *?

Origin: Armacham / Aperture genetic engineering program, Repurposed Earth

Family: 7 donor parents, giving her a very wide range of features, as well as numerous 'partial' siblings

Other: Shares over half parents with Martin Quail and considers him to be her little brother, with the 'reborn' Laura a new interesting sister, also has at least 2 clear siblings with multiple parents common among the Pantheon; She and Damon were spliced thanks to Melissa wanting to see what might happen, producing Demi their daughter

Height: 5'8

Weight: 117, skinny but muscular, long, flexible

Hair: Strawberry blond, stiff, messy and badly cut

Eyes: Bright blue, rarely blinks if attending to something

Appearance: Caucasian with lots of freckles, numerous scars from battling GLADOS's equipment and external forces; almost always wearing Icarus suit

Genetic Abilities: Cricket is an electricity manipulator, and it is from one of her donors that the stealth process of the armor shell she wears was created. Thus she is able to camouflage herself with far greater ease and less energy expenditure while in the suit than any other subject. It is her electric production and manipulation which allows her to open many facility doors, locks, and gain information directly from computer sources. How she learned to ‘read' raw data is still being investigated. She can create bolts of electricity which arc through her suit and into the surroundings, but also force these arcs to targeted areas with great ease. Practical applications of her powers include intelligence gathering, assassination, and electronic equipment sabotage among others. She readily accepts these applications and enjoys one-upping any other students when given the same task. She can camouflage herself without the use of the armor shell, though this takes up more energy in general than with it on. Cricket can short-circuit almost any piece of electronic equipment, and from a very young age had to be taught not to do this. Rather than disciplining her when she accidentally (or purposefully) destroyed equipment, her keepers decided to encourage her to treat every electronic item as though it was a person or pet. This idea took perhaps a little too well, Cricket often talks to common items such as toasters and door locks, before using them. She does have a very strong Vortal connection to her brother Martin, less so with the newer Laura (mostly because she didn't 'grow up' together with them), but does have better than typical close range telepathy and strong empathy.

Icarus Processing: Yes, accepted procedure at age 4 and shows no negative side effects. However, it must be noted that she was re-admitted to the Icarus facility for further testing, after her electrical powers began to surface, for re-bonding. This second process was done at age 7, and may be updated again if it seems that her powers are forcing the carbon-fiber enhancements away from her tissues. Though it is not specifically an effect of this process, it seems that Cricket can ‘consume' electric energy, and thus is often seen to only pick at her food – she should be evaluated for eating disorders on a regular basis, as her body does still require normal food intake. Her reflexes and overall speed are among the highest in the project.
Skills or Profession: Engineering and electronics, coding and programming, tinkering, stealth and observation, physics and geography (via GPS location). Cricket was meant to be a spy or Armacham assassin, her suit is custom built to accommodate her powers. She is quite good at climbing walls and clinging to ceilings with her suit's fingers and toes. She's a very loud, very sparkling, ninja.
Personality: Cricket is, in a word, a spaz. Her nickname was very quickly given and picked up by everyone in the project. Though she still responds to her proper name, she does clearly prefer Cricket as a moniker. When she is in comfortable surroundings, she usually has music playing through her headset, and this can be faintly heard by others. She hardly ever remains still, but when she does it is with an eerie level of immobility, she can hold a pose for up to an hour without blinking or appearing to breathe. Her favored activities include listening to music on her headset, dancing, and applying her powers to both of those. While she has been warned not to over-exert herself, Cricket's ‘dancing' is a remarkable combination of parkour, trained armored suit maneuvers, and showy flashes of her electric power. In short she would make a perfect ‘raver'. At least one time, she has escaped the facility to attend such an event, and it is unclear whether any of the normal attendees understood or even cared that she was wearing armor. (Note that the project's security team was dispatched to the site, but found no reason to deliver any memory-suppressing drugs to the attendees. Potential unexpected side effects may have precluded this from being appropriate.) She is a risk-taker, and seems to enjoy throwing herself into situations if there is any clear indication she'll come out alive. She is one of the few Paragon students to have had regular contact with some of her donor parents, who were usually found in the Origin facility proper, as well as a direct and obvious sibling in Martin.

Events or History: Cricket like all the other children was being groomed for work with Armacham or being farmed out to foreign interests, before the Events which brought their world down. She became extremely useful to the children as she was able to outsmart and sometimes defeat GLADOS's offenses and defenses. Her brother Martin was seriously hurt in the fight against the AI, and she still has issues with over protecting him. When they exited the Enrichment Center, she grew into a somewhat more pensive young woman, and has experienced the rougher side of the Combine's local forces.

She thrived in Paragon, though doing what and for whom no one was really quite sure. In Crescent City, where Carramba is, there is ample evidence that she can be of use to a number of corporations, as well as to the local night club scene.

Dragon

Name: Padak
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: Tiny 5' s / 28' l / 35' ws, slinky build ** Note that his 'twin' sister Chalak was always much bigger, and at some point either Padak stopped growing entirely or actually reverted down to this size. Though his sister is quite large, their sire Alendreth's size carries strongly in this dragon and all of his possible offspring, particularly after their stay in the Healing Den.
Colors: Silvered purple
Features: Bare tail, paws, high neck crest, solid wings with arms, headknobs
Powers: Mental speech (dragons, anyone), teleportation, flight, assisted fire breath
Parentage: Night Green Zaraith / Silver-blue Alendreth, Healing Den Frenzy 3 (Green Sxoith/Black Faloritoth/White Trymmeth/Blue Jeremoth) (has many siblings and half-siblings)
Origin: Healing Den; Half Ryslen, half time-frozen Seascape dragon; The Seascape clutch, known as the Lost Clutch at the Healing Den, was a delayed, nearly lost-to-Between clutch of eggs that were sired by the Kshau Protectorate leader's dragon. Their white dam obviously provided the unusual color potential, but their long stint between worlds certainly had a strong influence even on distant descendants. Ryslen dragons have a very distinct look, and Padak is no exception.
Other Info: Padak has never quite lost his urge to play pranks on people or dragons, his long stint after having been abandoned by his bond has not made him bitter, though it has brought him a sense of patience. He is very cat like, and his smallish size allows him to sneak around nearly anywhere.
