Eastern Campus

Magic Studies, Offworld Student Dorm

Dominated by the large dorm building, the east campus offers the student a lot of walking space and flat cement for skating and bicycling activities. Carramba High has designated locations for rollerblading, jet-skating, hover-vechicles and remote control vehicular activities, but please don't abuse the privilege! Not all schools are so forgiving when the Dean nearly gets run down by a trio of hot shot jet-bikers!

  • Use caution when entering the Gym/Offworld Dorm courtyard. There may be physical activities going on near or above you that may endanger your health.
  • Be courteous! There isn't any excuse for playing with the latest hover-jet in a non-authroized zone when there are more than enough spaces in designated areas.

PARTY TIME!

The temptation to throw parties or gatherings on campus is overwhelming at times. But please bear in mind that Carramba High is in the middle of a residential zone! It's all right to party, but do so politely!

  • All parties, regardless or reason or number of people attending, are considered "over" at 1:00 AM - during Summer or Break, 2:30 AM.
  • Be considerate - don't throw a party in someone's dorm when they are studying! All complaints are taken seriously.
  • Campus Police and/or Unleaded Firm's Security detachments will be dispatched immediately after a complaint. Failure to complay with their decisions regarding the event may result in serious fines and/or punishments.
  • California Laws apply to Carramba High's campus: no drugs, alcohol or off-world narcotics will be tolerated in students or staff members' posession!

Other Campus Notes:

Though this map has not provided their locations via icons, Carramba High has restrooms in all buildings, for Human and Near Human use. For those non-Humanoid beings there is a listing available at the Special Needs Dorm.

Camera installations are property of Unleaded Firm. Unauthorized use, purposeful destruction of, damage to, or otherwise interfering with their proper functioning will result in expulsion and/or legal suit.

Use of innate powers, magic, neural ware, or excessive/dangerous flaunting of natural abilities is forbidden except in clearly marked areas. Teachers have priority ruling on misuse of these abilities. And don't forget: some of the teachers have these abilities. And they know how to use them.

Offworld Student Dorms/Special Needs Facilities (on right)

Designed with the "total comfort" of the student in mind, this five floor dorm building has climate controlled areas and pressure/gravity systems working to provide homey atmospheres for those students who hail from what Earthers refer to as "hostile" environments.

The exterior of the building is stucco in the school colors, and has bulletin boards posted at both the north and south inner-campus facing walls. Anyone is free to use these but they are often used only by the inhabitants of the dorm.

  • There are few mistakes when placing new students in their dorms, but often several days notice is required to alter the dorm once placement has occurred.
  • It is advised that Human and Near-Human life forms use precautions when entering this dorm area. Gas masks and body suits are available at the airlock door.
  • Each floor contains two separate 'habitability' zones designed for high-gravity, low-pressure, high or low heat, high or low humidity, non-oxygen breathing, and under-water/substance worlds.
  • Communications to and from this Dorm are monitored, but off-world communication is provided. Extra time must be paid for in advance, if phoning home is a frequent occurance.
  • Currently there are no fewer than eight full suites available, however space is limited in high-heat and under-water zones at this time.
  • Arrangements must be made in advance for extended stays, and a full Semester cost for living in this Dorm is $200 (or world-equivalent).

Magic Studies Facility

Due to the tremendous influx of magic from other worlds and dimensions, Carramba High is proud to announce the opening of our new Magic Studies Facility! At three stories high and apparently designed by a time-ported Frank Lloyd Wright, this building sports the best in cut stone and redwood-tree design.

There are two doors to this building: west and south. Under no circumstance should students or staff attempt to enter the building from any area other than these doors. Attempts may result in injury or permanent loss of sanity/soul essences.

Students or staff belonging to the Magic Studies program ONLY, are allowed within this building. Visitors must check with the Magic Studies Dean before entering.

We have a safe campus: any ritual magic must be performed under supervision and within safe zones described in the Magic Studies manual. Failure to comply will result in expulsion.

What it's really all about...

Below is a map of the interior of the Magic Studies Facility, if one can call it an "interior".
