North East Campus

Sports Facilities, Gymnasium, Basketball/Pep Arena, Girls and Boys Locker Rooms, Physical Education Department

All of the buildings in this complex make up the largest physical portion of campus, plus the outdoor areas double it! Any sport can be made into a fun school past time, or even an award winning event if done properly!

If you don't have the genes for it, don't try out for a sport incompatable with your physiology. This rule saves a lot of embarrassment and hassles, uniform fitting and disappointing displays at competitions.

Never feel left out, though! There are always activities being provided for even the most unusual anatomy. Everyone from Uncle Joe to Intelligent Mathmatical Constructs can participate in some event on campus.

Physical Education Courtyard

Where all General PE classes meet once suited up. From here, it's a short jog down the stairs (to the east, barely shown on image), or tumble down the slope to the field area, where extensive track and field games are played.

Running, hurdles, long and high jumps, pole vaulting and more exotic versions of each of those, as well as soccer, American and Australian Football, rugby, baseball, cricket, Ultra Cricket, sand volleyball, clay tennis, raquetball, handball and hoverball are played there.

Two buildings (not shown) contain all the equipment the games, track and field, or events require. They are patrolled locally and observed by Unleaded.

Basketball and Pep Arena

Not just for Basketball, but Volleyball (indoors), indoor tennis, badminton and all other indoor sports events are held here.

Bleachers line the walls, seating 800. The exterior of the building is brightly lit and rises more than 30 feet tall, even though it is a single room inside.

Cheerleading practice is found here on rainy days when it is impractical outdoors.

Physical Education Department Offices

All Sports Facility offices, classrooms for study hall/Sports, Warfare and Tactics, as well as the Hall of Fame are housed here.

Every trophy and banner since the beginning of Carramba's rise to fame in the CIS division - football, volleyball, basketball, air hockey, cheerleading, even light-sculpture and ice-juggling have trophies here in the hall.

The building is one story tall, brown inside and out, and smells of pigskin and sweat, just as it always has.

Girls and Boys Gym Lockers

These unassuming two-story buildings rather resemble two hunks of stone. There are no windows, no one's peeking.

The Girl's locker room has a teleporter which can be directed to any locale in the Sports center, since the Boy's locker room connects directly.

We can still play "what's that smell?" in these rooms - they are original Campus material.

  • Cross-gender entrance to the gyms is forbidden and watched very carefully.
  • Those of ambiguous or neutral gender are considered female until proven otherwise. There is not yet funding for a third 'neutral' facility.

Gymnasium

Standing a whopping eight stories tall and flying our school colors, Carramba's Gym is a marvel of modern building technology.

The ground floor is occupied with the Weight rooms, Exersize equipment and Sauna. Second floor is the Martial Arts and other Aerobic classes. Floors three through eight are devoted to the Zero Gravity Training and Party Place! With only one landing on the sixth floor, the whole building is nearly hollow, with a wind generator for lift, and anti-gravity cells lining every inch of the surfaces. Built in conjunction with Penbardd Science Labs, the Gym is open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and is available for special uses otherwise.

Track and Field Area

The farthest east side of the campus is where the whole track and field, stadium-type games and other large scale activities such as parades or demonstrations are held.

The big grassy slope is the perfect Independance Day celebration park zone, since the fireworks are always shot from the track.

The proposed pool is almost half-way paid for... Hope for it to be done soon!
