The whole Tribe was called into the big meeting room inside the Den. It was very strange for most of the youngest members, because while the walls looked stoney in places, they were clearly constructed by Humans and all angles. Totally unnatural. They were shown parts of the Den that had obviously just been carved out of the natural holes and caverns, but this room was also filled with technology.
Some dragons lounged around - the many riders who had transported the group into the Den were all there too. It was a bit tense, really. None in the Tribe really knew what was going to happen next.
Baeris again paced about, looking more casually over the group. When they were all comfortable, lounging on the couches or sitting on the chairs they were provided, she spoke.
"You've seen a very small number of the different dragons that exist. I think a couple of you are even set on going to certain places to bond, even if you don't know their names."
General assent and nods greeted her.
"We can't be sure that we'll all bond," Omaciyu said, and Baeris nodded.
"That is true, but Zkoth asked each of the currier dragons who brought you all here to do a bit of checking up, and you all do seem to have something special about you - and perhaps that is something that the dragons will be attracted to. All I can do is try to put you on the right sands at the right time."
Kyle, one of the brown riders, and the one who had attended Irole - to the hunter's distress - spoke up. "The Nexus database is up and running, we could go look now. There are a lot of additions."
"Thank you," Baeris said. "And by the way," she looked at the group of Kin, "this is Kyle, he's the son of an extremely important person - so treat him properly."
Kyle immediately blushed and looked at the floor - the way half the younger Kin would do when they were put on the spot.
Baeris laughed and led the group into the big computer room near by. Several of the more traditionally-tribal members didn't really want to go in, they smelled the ozone and were reminded harshly of their time on the ships being deported to Planet Twenty.
"I think it's obvious that you should look over the images and expectations of each locale before you choose where you are to go." Baeris told them, "you can each do that yourselves - it's not that hard."
The few remaining elves still waiting to head off to their own hatchings watched this from the hallway - Baeris shooed them out lest they become snacks for the Tribe.
Temih - Attracted by the sharp edges and beautiful coloration, she chooses ABRI weyr as her destination.

Dijo - Is reserving himself for Darkling Dawn, but will wait for "the right moment" to enter.

Ihnala - Interested in shapeshifting, but also in the variety of different dragons out there, Ihnala has chosen to find the Braethas Raug hatching sands - somewhere at Cathair Fionabhainn.

Hocayi - The newly flown Special clutches at TRIPALDI are where he wants to be.
