...Hotel Shivran: Broken Shrine...

Reserved for those of a more spiritual bend, the shrine is excellent for those who wish to desecrate the name of a deity ... or to consummate their love and faith. An air of uncertain tranquility can be felt -- some wish to maintain the balance and others threaten to destroy it entirely. All manner of holy and unholy acts have been completed here ... not the least of which being the massive orgies designed to placate the lust demons of Buzgorahk, the greater Senaerran deities of love, and everything in between. The common atrocities of rape and murder pale in comparision to the things that have occurred within the boundaries of the shrine; blood will forever linger in the cracks and shadows of the marble construct, the coppery tang tainting the air.

The doors are always open -- the heavy wooden slabs hanging akimbo on their broken, gilded hinges -- leading into a veritable maze of rooms. It is one of the rare locations designed for mass, religious orgies of humanoid -- or even draconic -- kind; given the number and adornment of rooms, there is bound to be something suited for everyone. The main chamber is tremendous, rectangular in shape and pointing north-south. A massive altar rests at the northern wall and the statues and decorations adorning it seem to change according to need or mood. Most frequently, the statues represent common lust entities -- demons and gods -- in various sexual acts. Other times, they display more brutal tableaus of apocalyptic scenes.

Crumbling marble walls expose bits of the world outside, as well; forests to the north and a throbbing, emerald sea to the south. The roofless building also displays the sky, which -- much like the rest of the shrine -- seems to fluctuate between brilliance and forboding depending on the occupants.
