Hair: black and vibrant red, naturally occurring?! maybe? super straight, but very thick and satiny, kept long, and usually in a tail as shown

Eyes: fiery red, again natural according to Melissa, large, angled, heavy lashes but she absolutely does know how to do makeup

Appearance: tanned skin, with nary a mark on it. Somehow. She is tiny, slender, but not 'skinny' looking at all. Athletic, and somehow manages to do amazing things wearing shows like those... She can fit into childrens' clothing, and thinks little tiny flannel vests are da BOMB. There is always a scent of flame around her, she smells like a warm candle - not smoky, but warm. Her voice is high, squeaky, and she laughs a lot.

Icarus Processing: Yes, at the age of 8 when some others in her group were selected, she happily went down to that bizarre under-sea place. Didn't much care for Rapture, but on coming out of the Icarus surgery and processing, she had a considerably better understanding of how her powers might work. Melissa conferred with Haley, and they agreed: if her kids were going to be little pyromaniacs the least they could do was have control built in. It's possible that the processing also lightened her adult weight by more than half, though she isn't grown fully yet she's hardly even on the scale. With that lightness, also comes a remarkable flexibility, and she is completely immune to the negative effects of fire or heat. It dramatically improved her physical short-term speed and agility (below).

Genetic Abilities: Clearly apt with pyrokinesis, and this is her primary focus. She is able to produce anything from a tiny candle-flame on up to a 10' tall pillar of fire. She's learning how to manipulate it as well, and taking lessons from Hellish on it. She knows that she can cause some damage with this, and she is cautious around both crops and people, but when she's allowed to let loose, boy howdy. Thing is she can create a tiny little flame that burns as hot as that pillar... and the reverse. Most of her control over fire is within 10 meters at most, so she's pushing herself to exceed that. Her other physical ability is that of speed, and her name implies this too. Even at birth she was ... jumpy. And no that's not because she was a drug-baby, it's because the genetics she has really did make her a tiny little speed ball. She can move almost as quickly as a teleporter, though she does have to physically jump or run around things. Meaning she is upwards of 8 times faster for very short bursts, than any human born. She can move across a 10 meter space in the blink of an eye, but that's about the distance she has mastered, that or less. What she likes doing is skipping behind someone, then back in front of them, back and forth, until they fluster and fuss. She can keep up this behavior for about 200 meters worth of running in a short period of time, after which she must rest physically. Also of note, she cannot produce flames at the same time as she's actually moving this way - they seem to be mutually exclusive Vortally, which is fine, because imagine the carnage. She lacks any further Vortal powers, though her aura is very bright to anyone who can see auras, it's also visible to the plain eye when she's performing.
Skills or Profession: If the carnival was still touring she would be an absolute star. She's been given skill downloads for a basic education, in addition to the helpful tips from Rex and others to aid her fire production. But what she likes doing is finding old comic books with some of the others exploring, and pretending (?) she's a superhero! She's also learned how to juggle, and yes, she sets her juggling gear on fire before playing with them, so that no one else gets the chance to do it...
Personality: Upbeat and cheerful at almost all times, she has two speeds, and neither of them is slow. She does understand the need for silence and stealth at times, but also other people realize that she's going to fidget and explode so they tend not to assign her to any super-serious duties.

Events or History: Born on Aperturth's Mansion grounds, and was little when they arrived here to the Rookery. The dragons already knew she'd be fine for one of them, and when Hellish Blaze stepped through a portal that was sealed: they were a team. The dragon is about the same age, and is quite big even for a Nightwing, and Jitter is the only person he could possibly allow to ride him, right? So they are a duo fighting crime and the Combine!

They are stationed at Dragon Tower 7, the south-eastern corner in the wilderness, where their blazing can easily light up the sky and warn the rest of the area of any threats. Notably however, he does have a 'dig', nearby, that has been carved out of the ground for him to rest comfortably without burning down the whole place. He'd be really comfortable in a volcano but there aren't too many of those around. ... Unless Yosemite is still active... >_>

Name: Hellish Blaze (tm)
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: Large, 12' s / 60' l / 102' ws
Colors: mostly deep black base though on forelimbs, face, and tip of tail evidence of that Firescales brightness, forelimbs have actual flame crawling around just under the scales; armor is a base of a warmish grey-green originally but there's plenty of slowly churning actually-hot orange, yellow, red dancing beneath the surface of it all, including the spikes and dorsal spines, inset (*) markings are brilliant white; wingsails are deeply black in the center but at all edges form a strong glowing red-orange through orange-yellow, changing slowly based on activity level, and there are smatterings of bright white and strong red star patterns over the entire surface though only actually visible on the darkest portions; horns, claws, spine base color is a warm dark grey; tongue black, eyes red with also red sclera
Features: Nightwing, though obvious Firescales dance across his body and wings, so... maybe a little bit Skywing in there, just maybe...
Powers: Winged Flight, with as much heat as he produces, he hardly rests on the ground. This is the dragon you call when you need to write in the sky at night in glowing contrails. He's fast, and can attain a remarkable altitude before needing to come down. Which he does, not as fast as lightning but he might as well be skyfire. He's been known to tip onto one wingtip and circle a spot until a firespout or heat tornado appears, and if there are any Vortal additions to the mix, that can become an actual weather pattern, so he must be careful where he does this. Since he does have an actively burning interior, he can't really be trusted to carry anything because it'll burn, melt, or die.
Communication, as a Nightwing he's sort of weaker than some, though still he can communicate telepathically with stronger Vortal minds within about 100 meters. He has a close bond with his rider, however, and can detect her at almost any distance. They're rarely far apart anyway. He has a good grasp on English and some other human languages (mostly for colorful cursing) and understands a moderate amount of Vortigese (primarily commands for direction and goals), but speaks very little Draconic perhaps because he was quite young when he arrived. (*) though many Nightwings with these distinct teardrop shaped markings are much more magical, his manifest in a different way.
Firescales and All The Fire Fit To Spit, that'd be their call name if they were still a carnival act. He doesn't dare walk through or even fly low over a harvest field, though after everything is pulled in and he knows it's safer he's the one to start the traditional bonfires (while Muds and the spare Sea types are on hand to make sure they don't burn anything they're not supposed to). He leaves scorch marks even in asphalt roads, and his fire breath is unparalleled save by Hellfire or a couple Skywings out there at the Rookery. His bodily warmth can be felt by Humans at around 25 meters, and gets to be overbearing at 10. Thus only those with significant fire protection, be it Vortal or physical, should come into contact with him as his scales will burn your flesh off. He does tricks with his fire like nobody's business: creates 'rings of fire' in mid-air using a coughing spit, and then circles over it and through, like a performance. Because there are enemies that are just stupid enough to keep coming after the Mansion and Grounds, he loves that there's an endless supply of Striders and attacking ships to watch blow up like metal popcorn when he breathes on them. He's been requested to be careful around certain locations, but by the same token there are some gravel and sand pits that some of the engineers have requested he heat up so they can make glass. He doesn't even need to breathe fire at those, just walk through the area, but he has learned more control over his specific heat values by breathing over it to a specific temperature for those engineers to work with. He can easily melt the strongest and highest-melting-point metals, so he's working on dialing it back to not melt their tools.
Parentage: Unknown, though Firescales and Nightwing also appears in the form of Hellfire, whether they're related is unclear though, perhaps they have a similar parent somewhere

Other Info: While any other person might take him for a super-serious dangernoodle, Jitter knows that her dragon friend is full of life and wants to perform.
