Eyes: brightly orange and reflective, quite the departure from her sister ELLS, they had been blue at birth but with Icarus altered almost opposite of their original shade; large, almond shaped

Appearance: dark yellow-tan skin without flaws or scars, she has a low, broad nose and naturally-red lips; quite curvy despite the Icarus reduction in weight, but still overall very slender and long-legged; wears an adapted Icarus/Aperture body armor that has numerous features normally found only in the full armor package, and is brilliantly white in most light, but goes into a static invisibility mode at will; is hardly ever seen without the long-fall boots and power-accentuating upper body gear shown; she has a high and slightly nasal voice, speaking almost with a Valley Girl twang

Icarus Processing: yes, while aged after gestation; this reduced the weight and strengthened her muscles and joints, she's about 2.5x stronger than normal, heals around 3x faster, and is has a manual dexterity around 4x that of a normal person; she also can use the Icarus suit seemingly without training; she takes no damage from electrical energy

Genetic Abilities: as an ELL created for the Rookery, Mehetabell has multiple dimensions worth of DNA in her, so this is new. She has all the typical ELL predisposition toward electronics and mechanical devices, but Noriko's genes strongly attune her to them in a way that has rarely been seen. After she was aged, and given the opportunity to pick out some gear, she chose to modify an Aperture-branded blue-white version of the Icarus undergarment, and a few accessories, and ... fused them together into a suit that literally molds itself around her when she wants it to. She can do a 'magical girl transformation sequence' with the pieces flying around her briefly and then a flash! there it is! Her control over mechanical devices and electrically-powered machines is superb, though close range. The gear she has acts as a focus, similar to some that the Reborn's crew utilize, in that when she's got those on her range is extended and her control is considerably more refined. Normally she can wave her hand around a room full of machines and understand what each does, and what condition it's in (this is a generator, hasn't been used in a while so it's a bit rusty). With the accessories however, that understanding is remarkably detailed (three screws are broken, a wire connection is loose, it will run but it needs oil in its main compartment, danger shock hazard on the exposed power line). Under normal circumstances her range on this sense is around 10 meters, with the adds it becomes around 25 meters, and also adds a strong ability to control what she's nearest. Machines that are functional can come to life when she's near, turn off, overload, or change configuration if they're modular. It's been guessed that if she was around in the original AAEC she might have been able to force entire testing tracks to reconfigure over GLADOS's commands. She does exhibit a very minor telekinesis, and her gear will sometimes be floating nearby, a toolbox or spare parts wobbling in the air provided they're at least half metal. While she cannot refine or shape metals themselves, she can force circuitry to re-shape itself on a circuit board, imprinting new connections on chips, literally rewiring items if they're within proximity of new configurations. She does have other Vortal abilities to communicate with her sisters and other strong Vortal minds within about 200 meters, but also she is keenly adapted to the use of portal guns and other teleportation devices. She cannot arbitrarily control them, but she's looking into ways of embedding a portal gun (and gravity gun) into her gear somewhat like Angel Freeman's outfit has.

Skills or Profession: given skill downloads fit for mechanical engineering, civil and architectural work, electronics, and on-site specific repairs, she almost doesn't even need them. She thinks with portals, and can navigate easily through even unfamiliar terrain, quickly scanning an area and figuring out 'what did the architect want'. Though she can use small handguns she prefers stun weapons, triggered traps, and observation equipment over outright fighting. She's excellent as a scout, clearing out dangerous rooms or buildings before anyone goes through them.

Gear: her Icarus suit is capable of being light body armor and soaking both energy and projectile damage to a small extent, but its more of use as camouflage and climbing assist. Though it doesn't have arms, she does use small fingerless gloves with gripping hooks on the palms for climbing around. She has long-fall boots that are built to absorb fall damage, and also to weigh her boot-downward in cases of free fall, though they're not the same design as the earlier ELLs have and doen't completely stop any damge (she can just soak the little that does get through, however). Her upper torso has a lattice of shoulder, collarbone, chest, and arm devices that each serve slightly different purposes, from monitoring health, to boosting lift strength briefly, as well as focusing her Vortal powers near the hands. This also can help protect her from falling objects or blunt damage, but none of this protects her against elemental damage other than her own electrical immunity, so she does take care not to walk through acids or fire. Steam seems to be fine, but she doesn't care for the way it collects moisture and might short out any of her equipment.

Personality: charming, happy, and a little childlike at times, she takes delight in her work, and loves games. She's remarkably friendly toward refugees, talkative in ways that most ELLs are not.

Events or History: Created by Mel and Rhea specifically for the Rookery, however she was not given the Plasmid mixture because of her already existing DNA boosting her abilities. Brought to the Rookery after her birth at Repurposed's Mesa, she's spent her whole life knowing how important it is that this world survive the Combine onslaught. To that end, she focuses her work on clearing out potential safe houses, underground railroad spots, and supply cache locations. Though she spends quite a bit of time on her own with Inyekiz, Mehetabell clearly prefers hanging out with teen refugees and mechanic geeks in her down time.

They reside in North Aperture, up on the surface where the mechanical items are being sorted, but are on call to any location that Paxton needs scouted and cleared or functional.

Features: multi-dimension Nexus mutt, *features may be different on other siblings and with partner; scaled hide, four long legs with paws with claws, two leathery wings with 3 visible fingers having claws, very long tail with spade and butt spikes, long smooth face, conical horns, neck spikes; egg layer; takes longer to mature than Old World, bond may not be required due to non-Pernese parent, however she does need one
Powers: Winged Flight, swift and silent in the air, best for short and direct line flying; Inyekiz isn't really good for lifting very heavy weights but she can certainly scoot them a bit, and can fly with up to three human-sized weights. Watching her fly is like seeing a quick flash of light zip by, unless she's also got her Spark going, at which point she's more like a plane leaving a contrail.
Communication, while most of her family can telepathically speak, she's not really that great at it with anyone but her human partner, or those who have very strong Vortal abilities. She can speak English verbally, keeping to smaller words, though she definitely understands the technical jargon that her rider uses. She can however see very strongly into the Vortessence, detecting auras of people, creatures, or items which have recently been altered by magic, Vortal power, or psychic abilities. She can pass this information along to her rider, not really being able to do much with it herself. She does claim that she likes watching Mudwings heal up in their baths.
Teleportation, since her grandsire Arfeth is one of the most adept teleporters in the Protectorate, and has been known to hang out in alternate Voids/Between Spaces just to have something to do, this feature carries strongly in Inyekiz. She has an incredibly strong long-distance teleport, able to move virtually anywhere she's been on the Rookery specifically, without even getting winded. Her localized teleportation is hardly less strong, she can pop around a combat site within 1 km about a dozen times without needing to rest, but she does tend to reserve that for emergencies. She can teleport through time as well as genrehop as long as she knows exactly when and where she's expected to go, so she waits for either a stronger porter dragon to go first and lead the way, or for Mehetabell to focus strongly on their destination. This does leave her winded to say the least, and she cannot really do much more than rest on arrival for about an hour - so the coast must be clear.
Breath Weapons, though she has the very weak ability to cause a natural flame out of her mouth with no assistance, it's weak at best, and she would not rely on it even to light a fire in a dark room. What she can do, however, is leave a trail of 'Dark Spark' white noise as if chaff from a plane. It is not necessarily an attack, however anything that it touches will certainly be burned badly. This stuff drifts very slowly downward if let off in the air, but dissipates only after about 2 hours, or in a stiff wind 1 hour. Unlike its namesake, this is not a dark thing, it's brightly white like all of her appearance is, glimmering like ice or a contrail. She can lay down a web of it, fan it out in a cone, or have a narrow line of it form as she flies, and this can be kept up for over half a mile. She is excellent at sky-writing!

Other Info: She's pretty happy that her rider dyed her hair to match her own armor! Though not quite as playful or exuberant as her rider, Inyekiz is certainly energetic and likes to show off, not in challenges but in cooperative efforts, so sky writing or flight demonstrations are common when the coast is clear of Combine interference.
