Far to the north of the main portions of Kazoku no Ryu, there is a huge mountain range, dominated by one forbidding peak - Misty Moon. The air is thin, and very little grows here. But there are inhabitants. Not human ones, of course.

This is the home of a small group of dragon-like creatures, ones which might be mistaken by humans for deer - except for the wings and their size of course. Kirin dragons and Reindeer dragons, each with their own special magic and outlook on life, patrol the sharp hillsides for evil energies or any otherworldly attacks.

Both breeds are fierce in fighting for their territory, though they share it with each other. Rarely talkative, and elusive to those who would try to capture one, the two breeding pairs living here that have contact with Kazoku no Ryu are friendly enough when you take the time to learn their ways.

They have been joined by other deer-types of late, and accept them since there are few enough of them already. Their contact with the Nexus dragons had been limited until recently, and they have enjoyed the contact immensely. After all, realms of endless winter or places of great beauty intrigue them. As well as the physical contact with other breeds, which they enjoy more and more.
