Weight: 130* Icarus has reduced his overall weight considerably, as he is quite muscular and also a bit... nicely padded too; he is not more agile than normal, so he tends to be considered the Heavyweight of the second generation, rather than the acrobat type

Hair: Violet-tinted black, heavy and thick, slightly more shaggy with a bit of a wave to it though only apparent when it's short; usually kept as shown to just below shoulders, has his mom's widows peak

Eyes: violet, started brown but changed after Icarus, angled, large, with heavy lashes, and under strong eyebrows

Appearance: tan skin that turns a beautiful coppery shade when tanning, with a broad nose and high cheeks. He is certainly among the most physically attractive men in the group, though he hardly treats himself that way except in private with someone he likes. Tends to wear lifting gear, the torso brace in particular, but that's more for show than any practical purposes; has a very smooth and quite deep voice, though he tends not to use big words unless he's around folks that he knows have a greater understanding of his passions or technical information

Icarus Processing: Yes, at the age of 8 Melissa made sure that he recieved training for certain skills once they knew exactly what he'd be able to do with his stronger Vortal ability

Genetic Abilities: though his father provides a very strong background, it's mainly focused on the physical traits he has - his strength and durability are well above normal, he can lift up to 4 times the weight of a typical man, and can run for an hour without even breaking a sweat. He can heal both consciously and naturally at up to 5 times as fast as normal, from injuries that would kill anyone else. Though he cannot regenerate a full limb, he's had 'opportunity' to recreate toes and fingers, and that one time he lost an ear... He does have to concentrate on that, because otherwise he'd just have a stump. He is also virtually immune to the effects of sickness, disease, radiation poisoning, and other such non-injuries. He's actually found it a bit odd, that his skin tans, but he cannot get radiation burns. Parasites do not attack him, and in fact they've made note that any creature that attempts to bleed him (mosquitoes, fleas, ticks) will die outright and fall off him - and the biologists are scrabbling to get ahold of his DNA for that reason alone. However, all of that is just the physical traits he has going for him. His Vortal power has expanded beyond what Bear's is - he would be a good genetic battery on his own anyway, but he also has an ability to touch and heal people from the same injuries he would easily survive. When people are in contact with him, even normal folks, his resistance and healing properties extend into them for the duration. So he is able to rush in to a battle, or find a group of refugees that are injured, and within a few minutes they're all up and running once more, as well as able to then endure passing through laser fire, bullets, explosions, or falling debris. This power is consciously activated, but does drain him Vortally after a while, so he makes sure that he knows just how many people there are, and in what condition, before offering his hand. He could take a group of five with bumps and scrapes just fine, but only one with life-threatening wounds. While he does have a very minor close-range Empathy, it mainly triggers when he's within 10 meters of an injured person, and he can use that to home in on them specifically. He has no other communication Vortally, but his mind is easily noted as 'a warm, safe' feeling.
Skills or Profession: The downloads that Melissa implanted in his mind include search and rescue techniques, architectural and civil engineering mostly for appraisal of locations, navigation, survival, and emergency medical practice. So he is quite able to fly over a building and spot weak points, as well as likely locations where either ambushes or secure areas might be. Once on site, he can then determine quickly the level of injuries sustained by any given person, and make his own judgement calls about triage order. He prefers not to be directly involved with fighting, but has practical knowledge of various weapons, mostly due to 'that is what made this wound'. However he can and has used a gatling gun, carrying it on his hip like a badass Heavy, and he can punch Hunters until they die. His medical training has allowed him to aid others in surgeries and quickly helping getting bandages on those who aren't in desperate need of his Vortal healing, and he also has a keen understanding of medicinal herbs, which is why he and Steep generally work where they do.
Personality: Stable and kind, but alert and also very observant. He's not much more intelligent than average, but he does have a very sound grip on bedside mannerisms and took further training from those who were in the field already. Highly protective, if he's backed up against a wall and there are people to be saved, he will remove whatever is threatening them first, then get them out, rather than trying to hide or merely mantle them.

Events or History: Born near the end of the main group of Hippie Kids, Kono is a lot more quiet and sensible than many in his generation. Perhaps because he was quite young when they arrived to the Rookery world, he realized that they were in need of serious thought more than frivolous behaviors. That's not saying he doesn't love showing off or playing games, but he's not the type to rush off and do his own thing if he's needed elsewhere. He was not aged during his Icarus treatments, but he's been able to put the downloads he got then to very good use. Melissa is quite proud of him. Melissa is thinking they should ... yeah, that.

He and Steepside work out of Dragon Tower 12, near the Mud Wallow, and they both tend to the medicinal herbs and mud that is gathered at that spot, for later use.

Powers: Winged Flight, Steepside is a powerful, sturdy flier, who can achieve extreme speeds if needed, but prefers to work in a slower pace so he can keep his rider and cargo stable. He does require a wide area to take off and land, though if he's on his own and not required to be careful, he is also one of the most powerful wall-smashers they have. He can lower his head and just hit things so hard they virtually explode.
Communication, he and Kono are very solidly connected with a Vortal bond, not just a friendship. He does have a similar sense of empathy that he can use to home in on injured dragons, it doesn't extend to humans or non-dragons, but it works at around 500 meters. He speaks in a clear, somewhat clipped tone, he isn't curt or angry sounding, but he doesn't waste words. He speaks Draconic, English, and a bit of Vort.
Mud Healing, this dragon takes his work as a dragon-healer very seriously, and has been going about assembling what seems to be a 'dragon drive through healing hut'. In those words: it's a dome with two large arches, made of the same mud he's infused with his magical power, and inside it... well, true healing is very quick and complete. This only works on dragons, but it will heal virtually any fresh injury within half an hour at most. Even delicate Whiptail wing sails can be healed if the injury is fresh. The exterior of this 'hut' is covered in herbs and flowers that are of use to both dragon and human or Vort healing.
Mud Manipulation, he's a builder, as well as a healer, as above that hut thing is quite magical indeed. But it isn't the only thing he has built, or destroyed. He has a good eye for building materials, both in use and raw, and can put together complicated structures, usually fit for dragons, but some smaller as humans are around. Shelters he builds are made to last, or - in some cases in the field - made to fall to pieces when the wrong footsteps come through them. He can take down a wall and ceiling in a ruin, put it back up, and place triggers to let it fall down on any Combine or animal intruders.

Other Info: Though large and occasionally fierce, he's the kind of dragon that is 'the grand old doctor' type. Though not as old as some in the Rookery, he is also considered quite wise, and the other Mudwings will frequently consult with him. He loves chatting about the healing trade with them, too.
