Weight: 110* Icarus reduced normal weight considerably, and reinforced quite a bit of her mother's genes, so even as slender and 'frail' as she looks, Calypso is hardly fragile, and will bend in really odd ways long before breaking - and she doesn't break

Hair: black with faint brown highlights, straightened perhaps genetically but maybe with a hair iron no one knows, heavy and thick, kept very long and grows quickly

Eyes: strangely green, a foresty color that doesn't match either of her parents'. However, it is obvious when she starts using any of her concentration powers that they change to a dark blue or bright brown, depending on the focus. Angled, large, with a strong epicanthal fold, and she does know how to apply makeup quite well; under thick brown eyebrows

Appearance: golden tan skin that's a little more ruddy than her mother's and more yellowish than dad's, thin lips with a broad smile, and a small nose; has never even once shown any bruising, scrapes, or marks from her time out in the fields; extremely tall and slender, if the world ever had modeling any more she'd be right on it with gusto. Prefers to show skin, but look fashionable, and since she basically doesn't notice temperature changes, she is almost always looking like shown. She has a very musical voice, and always has, with a strong range that surprises most, even Rhea.

Icarus Processing: yes, at the age of 8 with the others, this process dramatically increased her durability and regenerative properties, while reducing her weight and build; she can heal from even bad breaks or burns within an hour, though this requires concentration. She isn't much stronger than a normal person, but for her frame people never expect her to be able to climb or lift, and she relishes their gasps. She is considerably more flexible than normal, with strong dexterity, limberness, and a little faster (about 2x) than normal. The processing also increased her Vortal powers by quite a bit.

Genetic Abilities: Gifted very strongly with empathy and mood alteration, but also with a healing power that goes with it. She can sense individual people at distances up to 100 meters, singling them out if needed from groups up to 20. Her telepathy is strongest with single people at around 25 meters, but she can 'ping' at up to 200 meters. She tends not to work her mood alterations and senses on groups, they often carry her away a bit. But one on one, she can heal both mental and emotional traumas, as well as small physical injuries such as skin and soft tissue wounds. If she can see the injury it will heal up in her presence even without her concentrating on it, so getting a hug from her is literally like a healing embrace. This ability works non stop - it's just there, so if she's in a group that's just come back from a difficult trek around the Grounds, all of the little cuts and scrapes, insect bites, or whatever else will just vanish in a few minutes. It appears to rely on external Vortessence, not her own, so she doesn't get 'winded' by this effort. However if she does apply her skills to it, she can fix someone up specifically, and this is when her eyes go amber colored. Her empathic powers are quite strong and well tuned, so a single patient will come away feeling much better overall than they could under normal conditions. She sings to her patients, to groups, or to anyone within earshot, and this does have soothing effect. She doesn't have sonic abilities, but the Vortal component of her empathy seems to carry that way. Her 'group therapy' sessions are often sitting around a campfire singing happy songs, but don't get her started on spooky stories. They will freak out anyone unable to resist...
Skills or Profession: because she was already known even since childhood to be an exceptional singer, she was taught quite a few songs, and has a good amount of musical skill. Her singing is the best of her musical talents, though she does play guitar, flute, maracas and tambourines, and has an unusually strong skill with kazoos and mouth-harps. However, her abilities as sussed out by Mel and others allowed her to have downloaded access to psychology, sociology, and the like. She applies group dynamics when they're having performances, and is keenly aware of any given person's responses. Though she doesn't do 'circus' style performances, she's trained with Siren, Rhea, Raven, and Pan for musical presentations. She has a song for every purpose, and is quite fond of show tunes and musicals, but doesn't feel she has the range - or the need - to do opera with it...
Personality: Friendly and observant, she's not in your face the way mom is, and isn't a showman like dad in any way. She takes her role as 'healer' quite seriously, but enjoys doing it, so there's usually a smirk or smile on her face. She does become affected by some of the things refugees and rebels have had to see and do to survive, so at times she will go consult with other Vortally enabled empaths to avoid falling into the trap of despair that's common among them. Though she is a friend to all, she has few very close relationships, and is more practical about sex than some.

Events or History: born in the later 'pack' of Hippie kids, Calypso is aptly named, and enjoys her life quite a bit. When they moved from one dimension to another, she did notice it, and is pretty happy about it - her skills are of use, and her abilities enhanced strongly with that Icarus treatment, so she wouldn't just be sitting around getting high.

She resides in the Mansion with a dorm and shared office with the other physician types, but mostly with Tanner... who she really, really likes if you know what I mean...

Features: Leafwing-Nightwing hybrid, though Leaf is physically dominant in most ways beyond color
Powers: Winged Flight, Mesmer is good with short distance and fancy looking flights. Not remarkably strong for distances or picking things up, however she is big enough that a 'little' weight like a pickup truck isn't all that hard for her to move. She's an ambush style flyer, she'll be at rest for an hour without moving, and then spring into action causing everything to jump.
Communication, Mesmer is strongly Nightwing in most of her non-physical traits, particularly with mental detection and speech. She can sense minds of dragons at 500 meters, and humanoids at 100, and with her other abilities can alter Human minds a bit at close range. She can sense her bond-rider (and they are Vortally bonded) at any distance. While she senses, she cannot technically speaking 'read' minds, though she's become quite good at tapping into Calypso's information and responds accordingly. She speaks verbally mostly English, with only a little Draconic, and while she understands Vort even Flux Shifted, she doesn't try speaking it.
Plant-Based Hypnosis, with those swirls and colors it's no wonder that she's able to produce a haze of delightfully smelling spores or... scales? or just a breath weapon that's turned into something more. She can cause local plants to create psychoactive cells, regardless of whether they'd normally be able to, and then brushes them into the air where they get breathed in. Any humanoid can be affected by this, and she can produce a number of different effects. From 'scared, run!' to 'this is the best day of my life' relaxation, Mesmer knows her stuff. This effect does obviously work best on already-psychoactive plant matter such as mushrooms, hemp, coffee, and the like, all of which are everywhere around the Grounds. Plants altered to do something they don't normally, will revert to their normal state once she's no longer around them, but while she's walking through a garden, you can bet that there's something different about the place... This ability completely replaces any other breath weapon or plant ability.

Other Info: One of her favorite things is 'campfire story time', because she gets to add special effects to the stories being told. She does sort of wish that her effect on plants was more permanent.
