Appearance: fair yellowish skin with no obvious scars or marks, surprisingly she has never shown any stretch marks or remnants of pregnancy, nor do scrapes or burns from any particular events seem to last very long on her skin
Genetic Abilities: She is quite clearly able to regenerate, though at a modest pace; Crystal can meditate and 'heal herself', though she has never been able to do this to anyone else it's possible that her power might expand with Icarus treatments or even magical teaching from her new dragon friend, **She does actually have a modest ability to sense and sense through crystaline objects, from glass to naturally formed rocks. This allows her to add a little of her own Vortal power to small rocks which a lot of the kids around the Grounds carry in 'medicine bag' pouches for easy location on the dangerous routes they take, she can sense those specific pieces up to 2 miles away, and senses normal crystaline formations around 500 meters, can directly 'look and hear' through specific items up to 1 mile away, and touching a stone does trigger a bit of brief psychometry 'seeing' around 1 week's worth of events from that stone's perspective

Events or History: She'd already had one child by the time she was 18, on arrival to the Mansion back on Aperturth. But then, she'd come from a huge family, and didn't want to be left with the bullshit remnants of her family's fortune, and decided to make her own. She's easily swayed by people with rocks and shiny things, and the Hippies certainly had that.
Among the few Hippies that has a permanent dorm in the Mansion, due to her duties there, and serves as the teacher for kids in the Library. When she and Jacob start seeing each other, she realizes that maybe it's time to put some effort into education and training, because there's a fight to be won out there. |

Colors: Black body with black markings (visible due to shading and texture, main fur shines at a different angle); neck and wing feathers brilliant gold, with pale white-gold secondary feathers, wingsails silvery white; mane and leg fluff snowy white; antlers ivory; claws and hind hooves deep grey, forefeet white marked; eyes vibrant dark blue
Features: Holiday Deer Dragon (kirin-ish), deer hind hooves, clawed forelimbs, wings have both feathers and webbing, deer shaped head with joined antlers (do not shed), thick tail with a split end - carries several types of tail ends (note hers are spaded and fox-type under the fluff)
Powers: Winged Flight, strong enough in the air to hold up to three human sized riders or carry a decent amount of goods so long as it's packed carefully and won't slide off. She is often found on the ground, however, and reserves her unihibited flight for evenings and dark moonless nights, where she can light up the skies with her magic and jingling.
*Size Shift, Kip can become slightly smaller (to around 4' at shoulder so her head is about the same height as a human's) but also consideraby larger (to 10' tall with a 45' length and 60' wingspan at that size), though she cannot keep up the large size very long it does come with an appropriate amount of strength, she can use this to briefly transport heavy items or quite a few riders, some who might cling on to her tails...
Understand language / Telepathy, she has an inherent ability to understand all language, though not artificial ones - she can't read code or decode morse or Combine chatter. She can speak clearly in all of them, and her face is much more expressive than you'd think.
Genre Hop, though she reserves this for dire occasions, she can move between dimensions. The reason she doesn't do it often is because she cannot take anyone with her when she does this, it must just be her alone.
Light Magic, among the strongest of her powers is that of producing all forms of light, be it broad illumination for a big dark room, or individual tiny specks of flickering glitter. She can control the size and brightness of all of these individually, though the more space covered by her lights the quicker she must rest. As an example, she might be able to produce a single tiny 'reflected piece of glitter' light for years on end, but to steadily illuminate a theater stage (say, the Chrysler Theater in Chicago, which has always featured prominently in Lane's mind) she could keep the entire room lit evenly for around an hour. Beyond that, she could light a stadium sized location for about 10 minutes at full brightness. Though she could use this ability as an attack, the closest she comes is using it to distract enemies or prey, as she just is not the type to outright use this sort of thing to harm creatures. All colors, including a decent range into both ultraviolet and infrared, can be produced. She herself does give off a very faint 'black' light, the markings on her fur show up to anyone with the ability to detect ultraviolet.
Cause Cheer, the best part about being a holiday dragon is that she gets to see so many smiling happy people! Though she spent... nearly a decade without her former friend, Kip still has a deep well of emotional peaks that can be instantly conveyed to people. In other words, she's an emotion controller, but she does only have the ability to 'make someone happy'. She can't dig people out of very bad or long term depression, but she can at least help alleviate desperation and sadness for a short time. She understands that the situations here on the Rookery are dire, so this is much better than any alternative.
Jingle, she loves the sounds that all her accessories make, and enjoys it when someone else 'plays' them for her.
Healing, though a weaker power than most, she can gently heal minor injuries, scrapes and bruises or light blisters and burns, within minutes. Her presence is both cool and warm, being a winter dragon she can reduce fevers, but with her other powers a nice bundling-up or hot-cocoa feel is needed.
