Name: Pierre the Strong Man

Gender: Male, bisexual

Age/DOB: ~30, unknown dob

Origin: Aperturth Carnival; French Canadian by birth

Family: Likely all deceased, has children scattered around Aperturth and several among the hippies now, including Prudence with Lena, Bonnie Fire with Haley

Other: The carnies and hippies are now his besties, otherwise none known

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 220, though he looks skinny his frame sports incredibly dense and very strong musculature

Hair: Honey blond, though he's worn it quite long in the past, it grows quickly so he likes to keep it cut, it's always changing, and actually several of the hippy girls collect it and make things from it, which he doesn't think is weird at all (he does)

Eyes: sapphire blue, round, over a small nose

Appearance: burn and peel fair skin which has a wide assortment of tattoos, scars; his ears are gauged and he likely has plenty of other hidden piercings, prefers white and blue clothing, and often wears fingerless gloves and a waist brace if he's doing heavy lifting

Genetic Abilities: none overtly, but his overall build and strength as well as pain tolerance may be indicative of Vortally exploitable genes. Very clearly his career in the Carnival suits a life in the wilderness post-Combine, he's usually up for any amount of hefting around large weights, or being dared to put himself into unknown dangers. He can lift nearly four times a normal amount, though his build has remained slender, and he can impressively do this while walking around and chatting like it's nothing.

Icarus Processing: Melissa is sure that Icarus will aid him, though it remains to be seen whether he'll accept the processing. He's already strong... does he really need more?

Skills or Profession: The Carnival's "Strong Man", as such he's quite the posing-expert, he can also sense where to lift an ungainly object and whether it will break or imbalance. He doesn't do this without thinking on it first, always appraising things with a glance. Has an excellent ability to banter, posture, and maintain a position without moving for long periods of time. Great at setting up and breaking down carnival tents and structures.
Personality: a collector, not a packrat. He likes having mementos of places he's been and people he's met, thus his tattoos and piercings and even a few scars he wears with pride, and can rattle off all of their meanings. They might look like 'off the page flash' designs, but to him they each convey a part of his past that he holds dear. He wouldn't sit under the needle otherwise! Has a penchant for speaking with an affected French accent, though he doesn't keep it up all the time and isn't trying to fool anyone longer term - not like Cubbage anyway with his ridiculous 'English' nonsense. Pierre does enjoy being tasked to do things that will occupy his mind and body alike, he's the sort who would put on an audiobook while chopping wood or breaking down a structure.

Events or History: His parents were actually the ones who 'ran off' to join the carnival, when they realized that their kid was actually as strong as any given man - even at the age of 2. They remained on hand until he was old enough to understand how to work a crowd and have his own personality, and then basically went back to wherever they'd come from north of the border. He knows that they picked up his family near Niagara Falls, but beyond that his history with them was short. They spoke almost entirely French while near him, however, so he actually is fully bilingual. When the Resonance Cascade happened, he knew that their lives would change forever, but he's made the most of it. After all, his strength is probably the most useful talent that someone could have, once the world ends.

He and Galaxy tend to the crops during harvest times, often enough he's there to actually serve as a ploughman - pulling the plough. They don't have horses or oxen, and most dragons are much too big for this to be effective. Though he has his own van among the carnies' wagon train, they also have quarters when needed at the south-western Dragon Tower 10, though focused into the fields, and not outward for monitoring like others at that station.

Dragon

Name: Galaxy
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: Medium-Small (chonky) 7'10" s / 36' l / 40' ws (scooped)
Colors: Midnight indigo, with a darker belly and neck, and edges, all of which are speckled with grey and pinkish spatters; almost black blue head, ear, leg, back, and tail nubs; wingsails tend toward a slightly brighter blue but also are speckled; eyes are white pink edged with violet
Features: Night Fury, scaled; four legs with thick lower portions and 4 widely spread conical claws; two leathery wings with five tine fingers, with spare winglet fins on rump, and a 4-tined tail rudder fin; head is feline and very wide with large eyes, a very broad mouth with retractable teeth, thick lobed jaw and head nubs that pick up sounds and smells, 'ears' that are actually quite sensitive to smells; body is high and forward with a thick neck, tail is long and muscular but slender, and the tail fin is required for flight balance
Powers: Winged Flight, Galaxy is a very good flier in narrow and confined areas, including underground or in thick low canopy forest. He's the kind of speedy boi that can do loops around an airplane, and enjoys doing stunts around bridges and through burning hoops. He is every bit the performer that Pierre is in that regard, and loves having him on his shoulders when they are needed. He flies at night more silently than during the day, he tends to overheat in bright sunlight.
Communication and Senses, like all Night Furies, he has a wide array of sounds that he makes, without ever 'speaking'. Purring, yips and barks, meows, yowling and howling, and even a kind of emulating 'wah wah wahh' he uses to elicit laughs in a crowd. He clearly understands most human and vort speech, and dragon languages as well, though he doesn't try talking directly to most of the Pyrrhans around. Though not Vortal, he has a good rapport with Pierre and takes his body language while they're flying or walking along as hints to where to go or what to avoid. His senses include exceptional night vision, though he's a bit blinded in the day. He has a sensitive nose, though honestly it's more of use for sensing electric sources in shallow mud or directly underground, for hunting. His 'ears' serve dually as hearing and smell, and the little nubs on them and the jaw bulbs pick up quite a bit of vibration as well as hidden smells. He's got quite the range of what he can pick out in terms of smelling things, and can play hide and seek like an absolute pro.
Speaking of: Stealth, in dim or clouded light, even in fog banks or storms, but particularly just 'at night', Galaxy is all but invisible. He blends in with any darker colored surroundings with ease, and since he's reasonably small he can stick himself around rocks, or even up a large tree, and remain still just like his human friend, long enough for any danger to pass.
Electric Breath, unlike the fire produced by many of his breed, he has a 'hot electricity' that crackles when he needs to shoot something out of the sky or in defense. It's very short range, accurate only less than 50 meters at most. But it will fry anything smaller than a Human to ash, certainly kill creatures slightly smaller than himself with heart failure, or cause a significant amount of damage to anything larger than he is. It will disrupt any electric field, including power lines, tv sets, and batteries, so he does have to be careful around such things. Or, use it against the Combine, because when he crackles this up around a bunch of Scanners, they all just fall to the ground dead.

Other Info: It was easy to tell that this dragon wanted to be around Pierre because of the man's bright and varied markings. They're both speckled and spotted! He wonders whether the LightFury in the Rookery will notice him...
