Name: Manny Morales

Gender: Male, Straight

Age/DOB: ~32 / 1987?

Origin: Repurposed Earth, Los Angeles California, PHEAR team

Family: Unknown, likely has family that had been monitored by Armacham; notably once Melissa gets a better look at his genetics she does want to splice him up with some others with similar Vortal backgrounds; When they locate Santana of the Rookery dimension, Melissa has them spliced up, and their son is Sergio

Other: A trusted PHEAR team member, and close to a number of the children in the Enrichment Center both before and after the Events

Height: 5'10", and doesn't look that tall at all, he's quite broad

Weight: 200, looks chonky but is pretty much all muscle, you do not want to fuck with him physically, even though he likes being at a distance he will mess you up in melee range

Hair: Black, flat-topped military cut, prominent widows peak, also has a vandyke goatee trimmed well

Eyes: Brown, small and lid-heavy

Appearance: tan skinned with some amount of acne scars on face, moles, and freckling, is of Central American Indian descent with strong Spanish on one side; has an accent due to family speaking Spansish at home, and can curse in numerous languages with a flair for the exotic

Genetic Abilities: While Manny shows no active or overt abilities, his overall Vortal baseline is quite high, high enough to have put him into the Harbinger / PHEAR training program. He seems to have a strong Vortal resistance to attack or sensing by Alma Wade, which means he's 'dark' on her Vortal radar - this could prove useful for other purposes* *Once his Icarus process was done, these abilities have sharpened, and though he cannot fully control it, he can now directly sense strong Vortal presences not just Alma (and can pinpoint her, when she is within around 50 miles!)

Icarus Processing: Yes, at the age of 28 shortly after the Combine's arrival, Melissa and he talked it over and believed it would be for the best if he could actively contribute. He and several other PHEAR members are now more or less Pantheon, themselves.
Skills or Profession: having a background in weapons, vehicles, and logistics, Manny is the 'heavy weapons guy', bringing not only the big guns to a knife fight, but also knives, rifles, arrows (he likes spear guns, himself), mortars, siege weaponry, tanks, and... well you get the picture. If it does damage, protects from damage, or gets you into the fight, he knows how to deliver it. He can, in fact, hotwire a Combine gunship.
Personality: Super chill, absolutely stable in the face of complete insanity. Manny has a penchant for movie quotes and loud music, he and Mars often jam out to Snakefist and metal. He wants to make sure everyone gets home alive, but he's not above putting everyone in a bit of danger to get there. He loves cars, tanks, and video games, explosions, and stomping Combine face. He is the sort that could easily act out Holiday's Bunkers and Badasses games - and in fact, does exactly that on occasion just to prove one player's concept of a fight move is either correct or dead wrong...
Events or History: Once a member of a local LA gang, but as his high school scores weren't all that hot he took Armacham up on their offer to join their weird new pseudomilitary company. He wound up with a batch of lunatics and those Enrichment Center people (note that he thinks the EC kids are just great... the lunatics are in his platoon!). It wasn't too long after he completed training and went on two or three missions with the PHEAR team that the Synchronicity Events occurred, and he was put on guard duty near the EC. Eventually their group was called in again, and his respect for those little kids in that ruined facility skyrocketed. They trust him implictly, he knows right from wrong, and knows the value of distraction - he would tell scientists that were getting too close for comfort to just step right the fuck off, and no one would mess with him if he looked like he was going to start swinging. He's the farthest from a violent guy on a personal level, he keeps his military side clear from his sitting around bullshitting side, though he's not afraid to throw around terms and details if the stories start up.

Dragon

Name: Tank
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: Huge 16' shoulder / 54' l / 110' ws
Colors: Medium brown under body, with a strip of greyish brown scales separating top from bottom, more tan brown along entire back from nose to tail, and on wings, yellowish orange wingsails, wood brown spines and dorsal scales and claws, horns are medium tan; eyes are grey brown
Features: Mudwing, four thick legs with 5 and 4 claws, heel claw on hind, with hooked heavy claws; leathery 4-fingered wings with elbow strut and strong wrist thumb also all with thick curved claws; body is very wide and muscular with a low stance (making his size even more impressive), tail is broad for swimming in shallow waters; thick overlapping scales on underside and sides, smaller hexagonal scales on legs and wings, face; thick armor plates on back and on face; head is broad and blunt with high nostrils for breathing while submerged, plated over with small jaw nubs, external ears, short backswept horns; dorsal area has long flat plated spines from neck to tail tip
Powers: Winged Flight, oh you had better not be anywhere near Tank when he takes off or lands. Good luck getting clear, because his wings will sweep anything off their feet if he's in the mood to watch it from above. He's not ungainly in flight, but rather slow and not maneuverable, though he can hover like nobody's business - he almost seems to hover in the air like he's floating in water, only with strong wing beats to keep him aloft.
Water movement, Where he really shines is in shallow water - or whatever, liquid is liquid to him honestly and the only reason he has to pay attention to what the substance actually is, is when he's carrying things that will get damaged by it. Otherwise he can tolerate highly toxic or caustic liquids with ease, though he tends not to care for radioactive waste because that can make other people sick if it's not completely removed. It doesn't matter how thick this 'water' gets, whether it's mud, quicksand, tar, ooze, or water - he just wades right through it at the same slow-ass speed as always. He's not gonna win any foot races in it, but then that's not his point at all, is it.
Lifting and Carrying, Obviously Tank is strong. Strong enough to lift his own lardass into the air, right? (Manny, you're gonna want to stop giving him words) He can carry basically ... anything. Since his overt movement speed is already 'slow as fuck' it's not going to be slowed down in the slightest by carrying even something almost as large as himself. He can drag items using a harness if they're too ungainly to lift, but he'll first give it a try before admitting it can't be brought into the air. He and several other very large strong dragons can be set with harnesses to lift massive objects, provided someone is capable of organizing this - which there are plenty in the Pantheon. He has a harness with a carrying case for supplies, basically everything Manny needs to live virtually anywhere is contained in it, but also he can pack it with weapons and ammunition, attach other bits to the harness, and never bat an eye. He has lifted tanks, flown off with them, much to the Combine's dismay.
Verbal Communication, Tank is surprisingly well read for a big slow moving Mudwing. He claims that if he had thumbs he'd be beating Manny at those video games he likes, too. He's picked up altogether too much cursing, too. He has a broad and loud voice just like you'd imagine, but it's not scary unless he's yelling. And then, just... just run.
Damage Control, one thing that Mudwings are known for is their ability to heal using mud - well, Tank can go one further: he can actively prevent damage from most sources (not Vortal and not radioactive decay) by ... well, basically blorping a mass of slightly-altered mud (or whatever) onto whatever needs protection. If that means dousing a kid in it, okay - they can wash it off later, but for the moment that pigpen of a child will be nigh-invulnerable. If slow. Slow as heck, because it's heavy. But he can carry them... This power serves as his 'breath weapon', he cannot produce flame - it's the only 'weakness' he claims to have, that he can't really join in directly with the fun of being, well, a tank.
Parentage: Unknown, Pure blooded Mudwing, by the look of his wingsail coloration, he may very well be Chip's sire or relative - there are a number of Sandwing and Mudwing hybrids around that bear more than a little resemblance. He may be Fracture's offspring, given his power and appearance!

Other Info: Tank is an awesome dragon, enjoyable to be around, and even though he's massive enough to literally crush whole buildings just by laying down on them, no one has ever felt less than secure when he's around.
